About Us We at The Medicine Shoppe wish to thank you for the interest you have shown in our web site!   The pharmacists at The Medicine Shoppe are owner Tom Siegenthaler, R.Ph, and Michael Smith, R.Ph.  Together, they have over 40 years of experience serving pharmaceutical needs of the public, in several different capacities.   Tom has been a store manager for several pharmacies, but his life-long dream was to own his own store.  This dream was realized in January, 1991, when he opened The Medicine Shoppe in Arlington, Tx.  Against great odds, Tom was able to keep the dream going by providing personalized service from the beginning.  Being able to provide personalized medicine by becoming a compounding  pharmacist is just an extension of the service philosophy of The Medicine Shoppe.  Michael Smith is also a pharmacist at The Medicine Shoppe.  He has also managed pharmacies for many years, as well as serving as a consultant pharmacist to nursing homes for several years.  He also shares Tom's dream of practicing pharmacy the old-fashioned way: with personalized service and personalized medication.
